Beach camp

Finding ways to make shade an enormous, open beach...brilliant swimming up the estuary in the background we had :-)

Gull eggs

Swam to an island in the middle of a lake a few days ago and on the summit found to whopping big, spotty gull eggs...which I quickly left alone before mum and dad (of eggs) did any more than just shout at me :-)

Was a wonderful swim, water at a really lovely temperature, which seems crazy after it only stopped being completely frozen over a few months ago...but there has been a lot of sun.

Bird V - Fish Ball

Wow!...to amazing spottings today...migrating geese? (I reckon) returning to Norway for the Spring and Summer. Ha!...I remember seeing a field full of geese, maybe taking a break before leaving back in November :-)

...and then at this incredible swimming place I have found I saw this huge ball of fish, frantically feeding on recently bloomed little sea creatures I think...here are some photos of that too

Horned Beasts

Too many fools in the pool!

Argh!...That pool was too full. Got whacked in the face (goggle) by some kid...and there seemed to be a preponderance of large people to swim around...and regular concern of being dived on...need to find another pool I think.

Underwater

So good to swim 2km in a pool today...bleak snow and wind all around outside...just floating underwater too, watching others swim...the beautiful submarine movements.
